Program Analyst Staffing Atlanta

​Program Analyst:

  • Will perform complex functions in analyzing data. This includes using quantitative/qualitative analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of program operations in meeting established goals and objectives.
  • Will conduct trend analysis to develop a funding methodology for planning purposes.
  • Will provide expertise and aid in the planning, review, and reporting of CDC data/statistical results of program project studies by performing analysis of the availability, interrelationships, and accuracy and consistency of data, and generating a variety of reports
  • Will identify opportunities and make recommendations for process improvements to budgetary processes, policies and procedures.
  • Will assemble and compile background and historical data and documentation to assist in the development of budget justification.
  • Will provide support to managers and program specialists in budget formulation process. This includes developing justifications and narrative descriptions to support budget submissions and requests for program resources.
  • Will provide analytical, budget, and project evaluation, and independently analyze and integrate program financial, technical, procurement, and scheduling information
  • Will maintain automated tracking system of CDC travel by the Branch Technical Administrator to include program-specific data to track suspense on items such as trips, conferences, accounting information, costs, vouchers, passports, estimates of future travel, etc.
  • Will interpret and apply guidelines in the execution and review of the branch appropriated and apportioned funds.
  • Will prepare a variety of recurring, as well as special reports and presentation material, covering the status of funds, expenses and obligations.
  • Will serve as liaison between the Director / Deputy Director and individuals in the immediate office and/or subordinate offices. This includes directing visitors and callers from other Federal agencies as well as other non-government agencies and individuals.
  • Will perform other duties as assigned.
