and Judy Waters, through the Community Foundation
for NE Georgia , are spearheading a fund to target
the elderly, infirmed, disabled who are either being treated
in New Orleans or are being transported out to other cities. The
Hurricane Relief Fund for the Physically Challenged was
set up so that monetary donations are directed to actual
victims in need.

LAWRENCEVILLE — Gwinnett
business leaders can put another feather in their cap.
After using the Cobb Galleria in recent years, the Technology
Association of Georgia is moving its annual conference to
Gwinnett Center. Landing the conference will continue building
Gwinnett’s reputation as a technology hub in metro Atlanta,
said Mani Krishnaswamy, chairman of a group of high-tech firms
known as the Gwinnett Technology Forum.
