Job Description
Our client is looking for a Civil Litigation Paralegal for a perm role in Lawrenceville, GA. Skills: · The litigation paralegal is expected to have 3+ plus years of civil litigation experience. · The individual selected for the position will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of a litigation practice, including carrying out administrative services and providing support to the legal team. · The ideal candidate requires a strong work ethic, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to work on a large number of cases in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: · In each phase of civil litigation, the litigation paralegal's responsibilities will include the following: · Drafting lawsuits (complaints and petitions), discovery requests and responses, notices, affidavits, motions, and responsive pleadings, as well as e-filing litigation documents; interviewing witnesses; · Maintaining discovery and pleading indexes; scheduling depositions; reviewing and organizing files; calendaring discovery deadlines; · Conducting legal research; analyzing legal issues; maintaining communication with clients, and preparing files for trial.
