Qualifications

Skills: • High School Diploma and minimum 1-3 years of experience in supporting local and wide area networks in a medium to large network environment. • Knowledge and practical understanding of network concepts such as Layer 2/Layer 3 communication, route maps, etc. required to understand and troubleshoot networks. • Knowledge of Cisco or similar industry standard hardware and configurations. • Experience with VLANs, Firewalls, Routers, VOIP. • Ability to troubleshoot problems and provide exceptional customer service by communicating complex concepts clearly to non-technical users. • Good verbal and written communication skills. • Valid Driver’s License from state of residency. Certification: • CompTIA Network+ required • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) desired • Wireless Specific Certification desired Preferred Experience: • Strong Layer 1-3 knowledge. • Experience with Network Monitoring Systems and Device/Network Management Systems; Cisco routers, switches, Access Points, firewalls, security; implementing and/or administering Intrusion Prevention or Network Access Control appliances and Wireless network solutions in large network environments. • Experience with the following products and concepts: Cisco Umbrella, Cisco Firepower Management Center (FMC), Cisco DNA Center, Software Defined Network (SDN), Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI), Private Fiber, Asynchronous Switched Ethernet (ASE), Citrix NetScaler, Load Balancers (GTM/LTM), WAN Accelerators, Nexus IOS, NGFW (9300/4300), PCI-DSS, and NIST 800-53. • Extensive understanding of network cable standards and experience designing physical infrastructure for networks with 50 or more sites. • Fluke DTX cable testers with copper and fiber.

Responsibilities

• We are looking for an individual with experience in configuring and supporting routers, switches, firewalls, wireless devices, etc. in a medium-large LAN/WAN environment. • This person will be responsible for the data center and user facing LANs, WAN, and network services for Client. • They will work both independently and as part of a team to identify opportunities and design solutions, configure and implement devices and software, and maintain and provide break fix for the existing equipment and services in a day-to-day role. • The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to multitask in a fast paced and changing environment.

Job Description

We are looking for a Network Analyst for a 1+ year contract role in Lawrenceville, GA.

Availability Requirements:

·         Monday – Friday (8AM-5PM) – Possible After Hours – Emergency Only

·         Possible Weekends and Holidays – Emergency Only

 

Skills:
