Responsibilities

• The Project- and Design Engineer is responsible for all aspects of project processes in terms of organization, communication and engineering work. • The PDE is involved and responsible for all engineering processes, which are required to evaluate material lists, to work on customer requests (RFQ´s) and cost estimates and to organize Client material management for our Client warehouse as well as for project sites or partner companies in the US. • The PDE completes engineering projects by organizing and controlling project elements. • The PDE maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, resolving problems and conferring with management. • The PDE stays in direct contact with EPC´s, Contractor companies and owners and is responsible for presentation events for Client products as well as for technical training when needed through the entire duration of a project. • The PDE reports about all important developments through the Client CRM module SalesForce. · The PDE is responsible to coordinate and discuss required Client Engineering Services with management. • The PDE is our first contact for customer requests, has to work on estimates and solutions in terms of any technical tasks, has to create AutoCAD drawings with MTO´s for documentation and is responsible for all aspects of static calculation based on AISC 7-16. For static calculations Client provides a framework calculation software RStab. • The PDE works on material lists and customer requests (RFQ´s) for our Customer Service Department to prepare quotes by using Microsoft Office Excel. • The PDE is self-motivated, pro- active and commercially driven. • Knowledge in handling of current industry standards.

Our client is looking for a Project & Design Engineer for a perm role in Duluth, Ga.

Hours – M-F (40 hrs/week)
